We will continue to update this page as the programme progresses, helping Members and stakeholders understand what’s changing, when it’s happening, and any actions that may be required to support a smooth transition to the new ELD.

  • 2026 Milestone 1: Developer Portal

    The Developer Portal will be live in late August, enabling technical teams to gain access to API credentials. 

  • 2026 Readiness activity: 1

    Organisations must complete the Developer Portal form promptly, providing the details needed for developer access. 

  • 2026 Milestone 2: Insurer Member Onboarding

    Insurer Members will be onboarded into the new ELD following a thorough due diligence and contract signing process.

Technical drop-in sessions

Bookable online sessions will open up in early August for developers and their technical teams to receive support.

July 2026

Full API spec shared with Members

Following the information delivered in the webinars and supporting content, the full API documentation will be released for technical teams to engage with, in mid-July.

11 & 18 June 2026

Member webinars

A two-part series of informative webinars: the first for business stakeholders and operational contacts across the ELTO membership, focusing on the next phase of delivery. The second, a technical deep dive designed specifically for technical stakeholders and programme leads involved in delivery.

25 & 26 March 2026

Industry discussion workshops

ELTO Members invited to early discussion workshops, led by technical partner Softwire. These interactive sessions walked attendees through the journey of the ELD transformation and provided opportunity to share feedback and shape the direction of the new system.
